I'm a plant junkie living in the heart of the City of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania...exploring every which way to get green! From Community Gardens to Adopt-a-Lot experimentation to shade porch indulgences and rooftop containers galore ~~ including herbs and veggies all summer long!

I've got a 2-year degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Harrisburg Area Community College and am certified as a Pennsylvania Certified Horticulturist through the Pennsylvania Landscape and Nursery Association, interned at Meadowood Native Plant Nursery and Harvey's Gardens in Central PA, spent a year working maintenance for Hershey Nursery, and have been employed doing Perennials Care at Highland Gardens in Camp Hill for several years now.
As the owner of City Gardens, I've performed a variety of volunteer projects as well as paid design, installation and maintenance contracts both in and around Harrisburg and continue to adore the process of turning brown to green!
